Nice calf. I think Chance is right. With a dummy he might just get up in the air even higher.

you might want to tie your flank around a pin hooked to a long rope so you can pop the flank off when you want to. It will help train the calf . When he does something you like you can pop the flank and he learns that he can buck it off. If you leave it on too long he might think he can't get rid of it no matter what he does. Just a suggestion.

yeah, we never thought of that before but the other day someone else recommended doing that and we are definetely going to start . thanks for the sharing the tip, someone else may can use it.

you could also use another flank and put it on the front like where the dummy would be just so they have something up there to, it could be connected to the other flank with a pin and string so when the bucking flank releases, the other realeases to.
