that one of our friends experienced. The calf got separated from it's mama and literally had a head stroke and died. This was a super nice bull calf, healthy but with all this heat going on throughout the different states folks have gotta stay on top of their calves. Sad deal

If folks would get a short trough for the calves so they can get water as well, it would help matters. I can not count all the places that I have been to that a calf can not get a drink until they are at least a couple of months old.

You're right Charlie, I noticed that one day and RD took out the short ovals for the calves.
In this heat the water is running constantly to the point it overflows and the babies love that, lol..
