I live in Indiana and i aint sure what the laws are to owning a bull like how many acres I would have to own, what all i need etc.

Mike I am not sure about the law for your state, but a bull will be more trouble then a pair just because they will start to roam to be with others. If all you are going to have is one find someone that will handle and care for him with theres. We run around 20 cows and you can look up in a couple of years and have a mob standing around, but we have sold half our calf crop on their momas so we have kept our numbers down. We have been hauling the bulls out of these cows so people can see them and they have created their own market for the calves. Hope this helped you.

Hey Charlie this will be our first calf crop we'll be selling. Weaned bull calves we send down to our partners. We're gonna keep 5 of the 2010 calves...sure would like to keep them all but that wouldn't go over too good with RD lol. It's a buyers market right now that's for sure. Jamie
